Job Description

The position resides on our Programs team and reports to the Executive Director of Programs. This position will provide support to the Programs team, including Healthy School Food Pathway, Grant & Online Programs, and Healthy Meals Incentives verticals, with a focus on administrative support for the Executive Director of Programs. We are looking for a detail-oriented person with experience working in an administrative support role. The Programs Associate is a key support staff member for CAF and is a great position for a highly organized, self-starter with excellent communication, schedule coordination, proofreading, note-taking, and writing skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the Executive Director of Programs, including general Programs team administration as directed.
  • Provide support for Healthy School Food Pathway planning, Grant & Online Programs (Bulk Milk, Salad Bars to Schools), and Healthy Meals Incentives (Partnerships for Local Agriculture and Nutrition Transformation in Schools) work verticals.
  • Schedule meetings, take meeting notes, and send email/action items for follow-up for the Programs team, including internal meetings as well as external program-specific meetings as assigned.
  • Prepare PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations.
  • Create and update spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Create and update processes that support sustainable Programs team growth
  • Create and update program files and maintain organization of program files on Google Drive.
  • Coordinate logistics for Programs team travel and special events.
  • Coordinate communication materials, promotional goods, office supplies, etc. as needed for Programs team and events.
  • Support coordination of project deadlines and maintenance of internal project management tools.
  • Support program-related research projects as assigned.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent directly related experinece
  • Outstanding proofreading and editing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High level of Apple/Mac computer proficiency including but not limited to Google (G Suite), Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva, Moodle and/or GQueues preferred
  • Ability to travel overnight for work up to 4 times per year
  • Ability to work virtually

Compensation

Compensation ranges between $42,573 - $48,000 per year and will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous experience and credentials. This position is remote and should be based within an hour of Boulder, Colorado.
