Job Description
The Senior Coordinator, Programs Marketing reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and works to develop and implement strategies to support the marketing and communications needs of a variety of CAF programs that provide education, training, technical assistance, and grant funding for school districts and school food professionals. This includes leading program launches, advancing program recruitment goals, developing print and digital program materials, demonstrating the impact of programs through people-centered storytelling, developing communications for program participants and other stakeholders, managing program brands, and more. The Senior Coordinator, Programs Marketing, will be part of a six+ person marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically coordinates, edits, and develops CAF’s marketing and communications content and materials for a variety of CAF programs advancing healthy, sustainable, and equitable school food;
- Contributes to maintaining CAF’s organization-wide editorial planning and marketing calendar;
- Develop a plan for and execute program launches in collaboration with program staff;
- Coordinates, edits, and develops content for CAF’s website for school food professionals (The Lunch Box) content in collaboration with program staff;
- Manages and supports developing program brands and creative assets (logos, photos, videos, print materials, etc.);
- Manages programs’ print and digital materials production processes;
- Communicates people-centered stories demonstrating the impact of CAF’s programs via blog posts, case studies, social media content, presentations, and more;
- Supports programs-related earned media efforts;
- Develops and executes program recruitment campaigns;
- Tracks and reports on program marketing metrics; analyzes performance metrics and makes/enacts recommendations for improvement;
- Continuously assesses and improves internal processes and workflows related to program marketing.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
Position Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent;
- Education, food, or other comparable industry experience;
- Demonstrated work experience writing and editing short- and long-form content utilizing copywriting and storytelling best practices;
- Demonstrated work experience building and executing omnichannel marketing plans and campaigns;
- Demonstrated work experience managing marketing vendors and/or contractors (printers, photographers, designers, etc.);
- Work experience demonstrating basic understanding of print and digital materials production (e.g. differences between file types, resolutions, color formats, etc.)
Preferred Education, Formal Training, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience managing marketing and/or communications, with nonprofit program marketing experience preferred;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite platforms;
- Proficient in Canva and/or Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator;
- Experience managing data and/or workflows using Salesforce;
- Experience managing websites.

Compensation
Compensation ranges between $54,600 - $71,280 per year and will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous experience and credentials. The Chef Ann Foundation is a great place to work.
